Sarah Jensen

Sarah Jensen is a joint JD/PhD Student in the Law School and Department of Sociology. Her research interests are in criminal justice policy and the collateral consequences of incarceration. She is currently completing a project that examines how incarcerated parents teach their young children (ages 3-12) about the criminal justice system and how they talk to their peers about the same issue. Additionally, among other projects, she currently serves as a research assistant on a feasibility study on enhancing contact between incarcerated parents and their children as well as a study surveying incarcerated and justice-involved people about their experiences and concerns about COVID-19.
