Benny Witkovsky

Benny Witkovsky is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Sociology with research interests in political sociology, community and urban sociology, and local politics. He is working on a dissertation project that examines the partisan polarization of nonpartisan local politics in small cities in Wisconsin. Other research projects include an examination of the civic activism of elders in rural Wisconsin and the political implications of prison proliferation.
